Metal Relic Heads to FABTECH 2026 With the Metal Artist Collective

Metal Relic is heading to Las Vegas! I've been selected to exhibit with the Metal Artist Collective at FABTECH 2026, October 21–23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

FABTECH is North America's largest metal forming, fabricating, welding, and finishing event, and this year's Metal Artist Collective is bringing together approximately 60 metal artists, sculptors, and fabricators to show how much creativity exists in our industry.

It's a huge opportunity for me personally. After years in industrial maintenance and eventually making the transition to full-time metal sculpture, showing my artwork alongside so many talented artists on a stage like this is a meaningful milestone.

Why I Wanted to Exhibit at FABTECH

After rebuilding so much of my life in 2023, many of the opportunities, relationships, and momentum surrounding my journey have connected through welding and fabrication. Bringing my sculpture to FABTECH feels like a full-circle moment. I love talking with people about how the work is built, where the ideas come from, and connecting with others who are passionate about making things.

One of the judges after my SkillsUSA competition told me that if I ever made it to FABTECH, I should put my sculpture on a wagon and drag it around the show floor. That moment stuck with me, and this feels like a chance to make that dream real.

A Special Sculpture Is Coming to Vegas

I've shipped a special Metal Relic sculpture across the country for this exhibition, but I'm keeping the identity of that piece under wraps until the show. You'll have to follow along for the reveal!

From the Workshop to FABTECH

Creating art with steel has taken me places I never expected. From welding school and the SkillsUSA competition stage to the Fabricator Olympics and now FABTECH, it's been an incredible experience to watch a passion develop into a full-time career.

Events like this are about more than showing artwork. They're a chance to talk shop with experienced fabricators, encourage new welders, learn from other artists, and show just how far a creative idea can go when you're willing to put in the work.

Keep pushing and create the life you want to live.
