My name is Jeremy Werkheiser, the metal artist and creator of Metal Relic. I was born and raised in NEPA. Growing up in the country, I always loved to make, build, and repurpose things using my imagination.

I created Metal Relic from my home studio on nights and weekends while working full-time as an Industrial Maintenance Manager. While I have no formal training in the arts, I did earn a certificate from Johnson College which was an integral start of my current path.  I have had amazing mentors who helped me develop my skills, encouraged me to pursue my passion, and taught me how to be the best version of myself through patience and compassion. Being my kids’ example of what is possible when you follow your dreams is what Metal Relic is all about.

I work with different steel elements, from fasteners to sheet metal, carefully welding and manipulating the materials to match my vision. The part of the process I enjoy most comes from creating organic forms while preserving the industrial and mechanical aspects of the steel. My art reflects my belief that everyone and everything can have more than one purpose in their lifetime. What you are now should never limit what you can become.

My sculptures are ever evolving and no two are exactly alike. Knowing that much of my art will be given as gifts makes me feel honored to be a part of that special moment to be passed on for generations to come.

You can visit me in person at any of the scheduled events and even better, you can now be part of it all!  Some of the events I am attending are difficult to connect with as a sponsor or vendor due to the selective nature of the planners or the costs associated with the event.  I’ve come up with a way for you to be represented at these events without having to be there!  I am very selective when it comes to the events that I attend and my accepted sponsors.  I try to only attend the bigger events which would enable me to keep moving on my current path and get the best value.  With most of the sponsors I am reaching out to, I am already a customer, and through mutual support, we can both benefit.

For each event I attend, I am one of the most memorable since what I do is unique and ever-changing.

All the upcoming large events for 2023 are scheduled and smaller events will be filled in as needed and will be included in the package for the remainder of the year.  More events are always being announced and currently, the ones listed below are the ones scheduled.  The more events I attend the better the pricing gets per day.  Due to unforeseen circumstances, there may always be some date changes or cancellations of events.

The headcount of the attendees at some of these events is amazing.  The Harford Fair last year averaged 60,000 attendees.  Race Weekend at Pocono can see up to 76,000 people just on race Sunday alone!  10,000+ visitors are expected at the Scrantastic Spectacular.  I averaged over 25 event days scheduled last year.

If you want to be a sponsor of the arts, I need some notice to get all your branded materials in place for the event.  I appreciate your time and consideration and if you are ever interested in viewing some of my work, it is on display at the Kitson Art Gallery in Tunkhannock, PA and soon to be in the Slanted Art Gallery in Montrose, PA or you can visit www.MetalRelic.com.  Only one business type will be allowed to sponsor per year to avoid conflicts.
